Jeffrey S. Benice has practiced law since 1978. He has a civil and criminal trial practice in federal and state courts.

During his career, Jeffrey S. Benice has successfully tried and litigated employment termination actions; strict products liability actions; partnership and breach of fiduciary duty actions; unfair business practices and trademark actions; California lemon law actions; bankruptcy adversary actions; creditors rights actions; wrongful termination actions; complex family law actions; trademark and copyright actions; securities fraud actions; medical malpractice actions; employment and trade secret actions; real estate fraud and commission actions; sexual harassment actions; bankruptcy non-dischargability actions; state bar disciplinary actions; Federal Drug Administration enforcement actions; federal criminal tax evasion actions; Securities and Exchange commission enforcement actions; and Federal Trade Commission enforcement actions.

Jeffrey S. Benice’s criminal trial practice includes defense of serious white-collar crimes and felonies. Mr. Benice practices criminal law in both Federal and State Courts.

• Jeffrey S. Benice is a 1978 graduate of UCLA Law School and was a member of the UCLA Law Review. Mr. Benice externed for United States District Court Judge Irving Hill while at UCLA, and clerked for Justice F. Douglas McDaniel in the California Fourth District Court of Appeal in 1978.

• Jeffrey S. Benice was an associate and partner at Lawler, Felix & Hall from 1979 to 1986, and a partner with Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison from 1986 to 1994. Mr. Benice left Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in 1994 to establish his own trial practice.

• Jeffrey S. Benice is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court; the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; the United States Tax Court; the United States District Court, District of Colorado; the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan; the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio; the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania; the United States District Court, District of New Jersey; the United States District Court, Western District, North Carolina; and all California State and Federal Courts.

• Jeffrey S. Benice has tried in excess of 75 jury trials during his career. United States District Court Judge Stephen V. Wilson commented on Mr. Benice’s trial abilities at the conclusion of a 2020 SEC enforcement action tried against Mr. Benice’s client Curative Biosciences:
